Almost 150 members of the Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce enjoyed an evening of networking at the October Business Networking After Hours held at Atlantic Realty Professionals, 5622 E. Oak Island Drive, Oak Island. Included in the event was a chili cook-off.

The members voted on which Atlantic Realty Professional agent or staff prepared the best chili and the winners were:

1st Place: Richard Nubel

2nd Place: David Berne

3rd Place: Susan Bartenfeld

4th Place: Barndon Merix

5th Place: Rasa Love

6th Place: Lynn Gulledge

7th Place: Rennie Craven
