Donation Presented To Southport-Oak Island Food Pantry

January 16, 2013 - Southport, NC - The Southport-Oak Island Food Pantry was presented a check for $1,000 from Uncorked by the Sea Wine Shop & Gallery in Southport.

Uncorked raised the funds through its wine tastings held every Thursday during November and December. Uncorked will continue to support the work of the Food Pantry through March 2013 beginning Thursday, January 10th on alternate Thursdays.

The Food Pantry serves up to 500 needy families monthly from the Southport, Oak Island and Boiling Spring Lakes area.

Uncorked by the Sea is located at 602 N. Howe Street in Southport and is open Tuesday through Saturday 10am - 5pm.
