Mary Browder -
Southport
On
Sunday, November 6, 2011, Mary Browder passed away at
Dosher Nursing Center. She had just celebrated her 87th
birthday.
Mary was born in
Moscow, Pennsylvania, on October 21, 1924. She married
Clarence Browder and settled in Indiana. Mary was an
accountant most of her working years.
She and Clarence lived in Port Orange, Florida for
fifteen years, after which she moved to Southport. She
loved living with her friends in Dosher Nursing Center.
The friends and staff at Dosher became Miss Mary’s North
Carolina family.
Mary is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Connie
and Mark Zaenglein. She is also survived by her sons and
daughters-in-law: Clarence and Berta Browder; Larry and
Nancy Browder; and Richard and Jo Browder. Mary Browder
was fortunate to be survived by nine grandchildren and
numerous great-grandchildren.
Donations may be made to Dosher Nursing Center,
Attention: Activities Fund. Mary Browder’s funeral will
be held in Florida on Friday, November 11, 2011.
