Myron H. Mattrey - Bolivia

Myron H. Mattrey, 68 of Bolivia, died Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Dosher Memorial Hospital in Southport.

Mr. Mattrey was born November 3, 1942 in Beirut, Lebanon, the son of the late Harry J. and Emily Madi Mattrey. Mr. Mattrey had been in Bolivia for the past 12 years, and had worked as a starter for Carolina National and St. James golf courses. Prior to coming to the area Mr. Mattrey had owned and operated Plaza Shoe Repair for many years with four locations in the Williamsville, NY area. Mr. Mattrey was a member of St. John Marion Church.

Surviving are two sons, Sean Mattrey of Buffalo, NY and Mark Mattrey of Seattle, WA; a daughter Colleen Mattrey of Buffalo, NY; a brother William H. Mattrey and wife Wendi of Williamsville, NY; two sisters, Julie Ameroso of Tonawanda, NY and Rosemarie Mattrey of Williamsville, NY; and three grandchildren Sean Mattrey, Jr., Caitlyn Mattrey, and Emma Mattrey.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date in Williamsville, NY.
