Amma Dell Zinn - Southport

Mrs. Amma Dell Zinn age 92 of Boiling Spring Lakes died Saturday January 28, 2012 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Zinn was born in Ritchie County, West Virginia on April 30, 1919 and was the daughter of the late Shirley and Dicie Barnes. She was the wife of the late Jack E. Zinn and was also preceded in death by her son, Jerry Keith Zinn. She was a member of Peace Memorial Baptist Church of Winnabow.

She is survived by a daughter in-law, Judy Zinn of Charleston, West Virginia ; four grandchildren, Tammy Rene Zinn, Stephen Craig Zinn, David Keith Zinn, Michael Helmick; great grandchildren, Chris Helmick, Ryan Lewis, Stephanie Rene Zinn, Julie Anne Zinn, Jessica Helmick.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday February 1, 2012 at 2pm at the chapel of Peacock-Newnam & White Funeral Service, Southport with Reverend Hoyt King officiating. Burial will follow in the Northwood Cemetery.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.
