David L. Kivette -
Winnabow
Mr. David Lindsey
Kivette age 78 of Winnabow died Saturday February 23,
2013 at SECU Hospice House, Bolivia. This was a very
special day for David, he and Jean celebrated their 33rd
anniversary and he went to be with his Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ.
Mr. Kivette was born in Guilford County, NC on October
15, 1934 and was the son of the late David Theodore
Kivette and Louise Cook Kivette. He was a faithful
member of Bolivia Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Jean Lewis Kivette of the
home; three sons, David Michael Kivette of Lumberton,
Jeffrey David Johnson of Raleigh, Timothy Scott Johnson
of Grifton; two daughters, Janice Faye Kivette of
Burlington, Sharon Ann Kivette of Danbury; 9
grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; brother in-law,
James M. Lewis and wife Joan of Beaufort, NC; sisters
in-laws, Janet L. Sullivan and husband J.B. of Winnabow,
Mary L. Russ and husband Michael of Shallotte and
numerous nieces and nephews; very special and dear
friends, Fred and Rebecca Farmer of Raleigh.
A celebration of life service will be held Sunday March
3, 2013 at 2pm at Bolivia Baptist Church with Reverend
Chris Driggs, Reverend Avery Lumsden officiating.
A reception will follow the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be
made to the Bolivia Baptist Church Building Fund, 89
Wilson Street, Bolivia NC 28422.
