Mr. Joseph “Jo Jo”
Fullwood age 68 of Southport died Saturday June 15, 2013
at his residence.
Mr. Fullwood was born in Southport, NC on May 16, 1945
and was the son of the late Lewis and Josie Varnam
Fullwood. He was dearly loved throughout the Southport
Community and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by two brothers, Marvin Fullwood and Leon
Fullwood both of Southport; a sister, Mary Elizabeth
Oeschger of Gulfport, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 19, 2013 at
1pm in the chapel of Peacock-Newnam & White Funeral
Service with Reverend Fred Roberts officiating. Burial
will follow in Cape Fear Memorial Park.
Members of the Southport Fire Department will serve as
pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 Tuesday evening
at the funeral home.
