NC Maritime Museum's Third Tuesday Program Press Release
March 21, 2009 – Southport, North Carolina (NC) - Captain Dave Scheu will speak at the Friends of the NC Maritime Museum's Third Tuesday program on April 21. Scheu, a veteran of the U.S. Navy has been the director of the Battleship North Carolina for the past 17 years. He will present a program on the "USS NC Memorial and a History of Wooden Ships from the 1800's to the Present Including the USS NC Submarine" which he helped commission. The program which is sponsored by Cecil Rhodes will be held at the Southport Community Center on Tuesday, April 21 at 7 p.m. The event is free but reservations are requested.
