Passes to Taylor
 The
Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 35th
Annual Meeting in June with a ceremonial passing of the gavel from
2009/2010 President Kenneth R. Campbell, Campbell Law to 2010/2011
President Karen Taylor, Taylor Cuisine, Café & Catering. President
Taylor’s first presidential duty was to introduce to the Chamber
members five new Board Members elected to serve a three year term.
They are Tasha Helms, CPA, P.C.; Jan Park, Carillon Assisted Living
of Southport; Gene Faller, Lowe’s Home Improvement of Southport;
Greg White, Peacock, Newnam & White Funeral & Cremation Services;
and Tim Bell, Bell’s Supply.
