The Southport Historical Society
announces the release of "Journey To Cape Fear" by
Mike Price, in cooperation with Years of Yore Books.

Price states: “This book brings together a store of
historical facts, genealogical information, and
personal adventures and portraits of my ancestors
whose descendants settled in the lower Cape Fear
region of North Carolina, including the family names
of Barnhill, Brinkman, Buck, Cox, Cumbee, Drew,
Farmer, Galloway, Gause, Hewett, Jacocks, Leonard,
Morgan, Morse, Piver, Potter, Price, Rees, Sellers,
Swain,Tharp, Thomas, Thompson, Vaught, Wescott,
Willetts and others. The story of these ancestors of
mine, piece by piece, layer by layer came together
to paint an unexpected historical portrait. I

The price of the book is $25.00 ($22.50 for SHS
