NC 4th of July Festival Nominated as Best of US!

May 24, 2013 - Southport, NC - John Banks of Boiling Spring Lakes nominated The N.C. 4th of July Festival as a top Community Celebration in Johnsonville’s nationwide search for the "Best of US!" He was notified The NC 4th of July Festival has been selected as one of 20 top Community Celebrations in Johnsonville's nationwide search for the "Best of US!" Johnsonville called on America to share with us the inspiring stories about the events and festivals that make our country great, and we received so many amazing entries – one of which was for NC 4th of July Festival. It was hard to narrow the nominees to just the top 20, and are pleased to announce your nomination is one of them!

Beginning Thursday, May 23, America will be able to vote for their favorite community celebrations on our website. From May 23 until June 14 be sure to vote for your entry – and encourage your friends and family to do the same! You can vote once per day, per category. While you’re voting, please also place a vote in the second category – Educators.

On or around June 24 Johnsonville will announce the top 10 Best of US in these two categories – Educators and Community Celebrations. The nomination receiving the highest number of votes in each category will earn a grand prize of $10,000, with the additional nine finalists each receiving $1,000!

Again, congratulations on having NC 4th of July Festival selected as one of the top community celebrations in America!
