Mrs. Betty Jane
Meares age 78 of Supply, NC and Zebulon, NC died Tuesday
September 20, 2011 in Zebulon, NC.
Mrs. Meares was
born March 13, 1933 in New Hanover County and was the
daughter of the late Leavy and Thelma Harper Sellers.
She was a member of Emmanuel Holiness Church of Tabor
City, NC.
She is survived by her husband, T.K. Meares; two sons,
Terry Meares and Chris Meares both of Raleigh; three
daughters, Nancy Zerrer and husband John of Garner,
Janet Dove and husband Billy of Spring Hope, Brenda
Baker and husband David of Zebulon; four brothers, Buddy
Sellers of Supply, Danny Sellers of Elizabethtown,
Martin Sellers of Supply and Jeff Sellers of Supply;
eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday September
23, 2011 at 11am at Galloway Cemetery, West on Big
Macedonia Road, Supply, NC with Reverend Roger Small
officiating.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening 6-8 pm
at Mt. Olive Baptist Church , 2919 Galloway Road ,
Bolivia, NC.
