“My precious son, I have prayed for your recovery for
years! Now God has answered my prayer – not in the
natural realm, but into His realm. Only God knew what
was best for you. Your struggles were beyond any form of
understanding. I know you cried out to God to release
you from the demons that have haunted you for years in
the form of drugs and alcohol. And when you laid your
head down, He picked you up into His arms – from the
foot of the cross where I had so often left you in my
prayers. He cradled you and made you whole and free. I
can only bear this burden because I know God has taken
you home and you are free from your struggles. I will
see you in Heaven my precious son! “ Love, Mom
“My son lived his life without compromise. He was as
much a viking as a teddy bear. His passion for his
guitar, drums, the woods, river, ocean, his floundering
at night, Julie, his life- long love, and his family
were a testament of his love in this world. The smell of
the top of his head, the taste of a kiss on his neck,
and the feel of his hand in mine are forever the whitest
things in my museum of recollection. I love my son as
much as God gave me place to fill in my heart. My boy’s
work ethic was second to none. Jesus, please hold my
hero ‘till I get there and give him a squirrel breath
rub sometime.”
Love, Daddy
“My sweet, dear, precious brother, you are my heart
forever! You will hurt no more! You will fear no more
evil! You know such peace and serenity right now. We
here on earth can only long to know such a way of life.
Oh, to see your new heavenly being. You were always so
very handsome, and I can’t even fathom your beauty now.
I can see you smiling so large and playing the drums
with such heavenly grace!! The Lord made such talent
when he breathed breath into your lungs. And now that
very talent that he has blessed us with for 29 years, He
gets to _____and cherish for evermore! I love you with
all my earthly being and I promise you I will see you
soon!!”
Love, Andrea
“My dearest friend, I love you! I will forever hold our
memories together, and close at heart. I long to hear
our music again in heaven. I will see you one day soon!
“ Your brother always, Matt Odham
My heart shall rejoice in your salvation!
My flesh will rest I hope!
At your right hand are pleasures forevermore!
As for me, I will see your face in righteousness.
I shall be satisfied when I awake in your likeness!
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer. My
God, my strength in whom I will trust. So shall I be
saved from my enemies.
He sent from above and He took Me!
The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.
And sets me on my high places.
So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. I have pursued
my enemies and overtaken them!! They have fallen under
my feel, For you, My Lord, have armed me with strength
for the battle. I beat them as fine as dust before the
wind, and I cast them out like dirt in the streets. He
delivers me from my enemies! He shall cover you with his
feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge. No
evil shall befall you! For He shall give his angels
charge over you. They shall bear you up in their hands.
