Mrs. Kathleen
Soucy age 61 of Oak Island died December 4, 2011 at Duke
University Medical Center.
Mrs. Soucy was born in Newark, New Jersey on December 9,
1949 and was the daughter of the late Hew and Dorothy
Daisy Wallace. She was a Medical Transcriptionist with
Dosher Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her devoted husband Paul; five
children, Maggie, Christine, Joanne, Paul Jr., Sandra,
Christina; a sister, Patricia Gilbert and numerous
grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday December 16, 2011
at 3pm at Peacock-Newnam & White Funeral Service Chapel
with Father Doug Lawson officiating.
