Faxon William Learner
- St. James
Faxon William
Learner, age 65, of St. James died Wednesday, September
5, 2012 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Learner was born in Buffalo, New York on December 7,
1946, son of the late Harry William and Priscilla Faxon
Learner. He was an international executive for Unilever
Corporation until 1996. After his move to Southport he
started his own consulting business, Basic Logistics
until his retirement. In addition to his parents, Mr.
Learner was preceded in death by one sister Lucia.
Survivors include his wife, Donna of St. James; two
sons, Michael of St. James and Faxon Jr. of Florida; two
daughters, Kristen of Florida and Karen of Maryland; and
one grandson Colin Faxon.
A memorial service will be at 3:00 pm Monday, September
10, 2012 at the St. James Chapel with Dr. Garrett
Albertson officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude’s
Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place,
Memphis, TN 38105.
