Kevin Robert
Johnson, 62 of Bolivia, NC passed away on Wednesday,
August 29, 2012 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center
in Wilmington.
Mr. Johnson was born May 16, 1950 in New York, the son
of Walter and Ann Sharan Johnson. He was employed with
INA Oil in Southport for 17 years. Mr. Johnson attended
Townson State University on a lacrosse scholarship, and
also attended Pace University in New York. He loved the
New York Yankee and the New York Giants. He was a gifted
athlete, excelling in football, lacrosse and golf. Mr.
Johnson was a hard worker and a dedicated employee who
always gave 100% effort. He was an award wining
fisherman and loved to spend time with his family. Mr.
Johnson was preceded in death by his father.
Surviving are his mother Ann Johnson – Mowery of Supply,
two daughters Courtney Johnson of Phoenix, AZ and Lacey
Johnson of San Diego, CA; a brother Jerry Johnson of
Sloatsburg, NY; a sister Sharon Fisher of Suffern, NY;
one nephew Derek Fisher; and two nieces Tara McCarthy
and Melissa Johnson all of New York.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday,
September 2, 2012 in the Peacock – Newnam & White
Funeral Service Chapel with Reverend Doug Lawson
officiating.
