Preprinted Postcard Text (Back): Orton Plantation, one of the interesting, historical beauty spots preserved from the cradle of America. Built in 1725 by King Roger Moore, the original house still comprises the central part of the building; surrounded by beautiful trees, festooned with Spanish Moss. Exquisite gardens, artistically planned, where Azaleas, Camellias, Rhododendrons and other beautiful shrubbery, growing in profusion, surround the premises. These gardens are open to visitors at a moderate fee. The impressive walls of Colonial St. Philip's Church and the site of the residence of three Colonial Governors are adjacent to these gardens.
